Our software package used to access and use the Service contains certain features designed to detect use of automated programs that enable artificial (non-human) intelligence to play on our site. Use of such “bot” software programs violates our Terms and Conditions. By installing our software and using the Service, you consent to our software performing the functions described in this section. Our software may perform any or all of the following functions in order to detect the use of illicit automated programs and ensure that we maintain a “cheat free” environment for all users: (1) scan your list of active software applications while you are using the Service, (2) scan your list of active processes while you are using the service, (3) scan the files in your BingoHome.com-related program folders to ensure that only “non-hacked” versions of our software are being used. If any of the foregoing processes reveals a suspect application or process, our software may (1) scan the files associated with the suspect application or process and compile a composite mesh (i.e. a profile that characterizes the files associated with the application or process) to be matched against profiles for known illicit automated programs, and (2) capture a screenshot of your desktop or navigation pages, and transmit these to BingoHome.com for review. You may terminate use of our software at any time by uninstalling the BingoHome.com software package.

10. Security. We understand the importance of information security and the techniques needed to secure information. We store all of the Personal Information we receive directly from you in a password-protected database residing within our secure network behind active state-of-the-art firewall software.

11. Protection of Children. The Service is not intended for or directed to persons under the age of 18. Any person who provides their information to us through any part of the Service represents to us that they are 18 years of age or older. It is our policy to endorse the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and to use our best efforts to comply with that Act. This may involve us having to access and verify your Personal Information. BingoHome.com will automatically send people in your address book an email inviting them to join the site via our automated invitation system. BingoHome.com stores these email address for the purpose of sending reminders of the invitation. BingoHome.com does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders. Recipients of invitations from BingoHome.com may contact BingoHome.com to request the removal of their information from our database. You may prevent BingoHome.com email invitations and other messages from being sent to any email address in your address book by visiting http://unsubscribe.bingohome.com. Please note that the email must come from the account you wish to block.

17. Anti-Spam Policy & Pop Up Windows. You may receive advertisements for our site or from third parties. For instance, when visiting a third party website, you may receive a "pop up" window advertising our site. Please note that such advertisements are served by the third party website that you have visited and are not controlled by our site. In addition, you may receive emails that advertise our sites from third party publishers. We have established firm ground rules for dealing with any third party email services to ensure that advertisements for our site are not sent out through a "Spam" mailing -- ensuring that our advertisements are sent only to those individuals who have given their permission to the third party email service to receive communications. 18. Clear Gifs. We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs) that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movement of Web users. Clear gifs are not tied to users' personally identifiable information. We also use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails the recipients have opened. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, you should follow the opt-out instructions included in the email so that you will not be included in any future mailings. This is our entire and exclusive Privacy Policy and it supersedes any earlier version.
